Essential Oil - Lavender Maillette

A 10mL single essential oil extracted by steam distillation from Lavender Maillette grown in Provence, France. This chemotype, extracted from the flowering tops of Lavandula angustifolia (true lavender), is primarily composed of Linalyl Acetate and Linalool. It has a soft, sweet floral aroma that evokes the straightforward scent of lavender.

"Maillette" Lavender

Lavender encompasses numerous varieties and cultivated strains, such as "Maillette," "Mylette," and "Grosso," each with a distinct aroma. Maillette is one of the representative varieties of true lavender (angustifolia species) that has been cultivated in the Provence region of southern France since ancient times. It has a high ratio of linalyl acetate, characterized by a sweet, floral scent among lavenders.
