FAQ

What is the difference between Maillette and other lavenders?

Maillette is a representative cultivar of true lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) grown in the Provence region of France. It is characterized by a high linalyl acetate content and a sweet, floral aroma. Its scent is milder than Lavandin Grosso (a hybrid) and is suitable for those who want to enjoy a characteristic lavender fragrance.

Can I use it directly on my skin?

Avoid applying the undiluted solution directly to your skin. Dilute to 1% or less (1-2 drops per 10mL) with a carrier oil (such as jojoba or sweet almond) before using as a body or massage oil. We recommend a patch test for those with sensitive skin.

How can I blend this with other essential oils?

Lavender is known as an "all-rounder in blending" and is an essential oil that pairs well with almost any fragrance. It can be combined with a wide range of scents, including citrus (lemon, bergamot), floral (rose geranium, ylang-ylang), woody (sandalwood, palo santo), and herbaceous (sage, tea tree).

What time of day do you recommend burning it?

It's a fragrance that has been cherished for its soft, sweet, floral aroma, perfect for relaxing evenings, before bed in the bedroom, or during a quiet moment of reading or bathing.
