Aqua Chakra No.1 Muladhara

From Italy's Fiore D'Oriente Aqua Chakra series, No. 1 "Muladhara." This is a water-based perfume cologne themed around the "Muladhara Chakra," which in the tradition of Yoga and Ayurveda is located at the first chakra, corresponding to the base of the body (near the tailbone). It is a blend with an earthy depth and warmth, centered around frankincense, patchouli, vetiver, and ginger.

The Muladhara Chakra and the Theme of "Root"

Muladhara, meaning "root support" in Sanskrit, is the first chakra in the Yoga tradition. Located near the tailbone and corresponding to the color red, it is a chakra whose keywords are "stability, foundation, vitality, life force, and grounding." It is popular as a scent to wear when you want to solidify your footing, during times of travel or frequent change, or when you want to approach things with a grounded perspective.

Fragrance Profile

A rich and grounding scent, where the clear and sacred opening of frankincense resin is layered with the earthy woody scent of patchouli, the smoky earthy musk of vetiver, and the spicy warmth of ginger. The top note of citrus (orange) brightly opens the entrance, and the sweet resinous scent of benzoin remains in the dry down. Among the seven chakras, this is the most "deep" and "heavy" fragrance.

How to Use

Spray or apply by hand to pulse points such as wrists, behind the ears, neck, and inner elbows. Use during your morning deep breathing, before or after meditation/yoga, or in any situation where you want to calm your mind.
