Sauna Blend - Fresh

Kosmic Alchemy house brand sauna blend "Fresh" 100mL. This is a water-based aroma blend for löyly, centered on thyme, mint, and lavender, with layers of rosemary, lemon, and juniper. By adding it to the hot water poured over the sauna stones (the water in the ladle), a refreshing herbal and citrus scent spreads throughout the sauna room with the rising steam.

Löyly: A Nordic Tradition

Löyly is a Finnish word that refers to the act of pouring water over sauna stones to create steam. It is a central ritual in Nordic saunas that increases the humidity in the sauna room and deepens the sensation of heat. In Finland, it has been a beloved tradition to add conifer needles, birch branches, and more recently, essential oils to this water, enjoying the scent along with the steam. This product is a water-based blend that requires no dilution, created with this tradition in mind, so that Japanese sauna enthusiasts can easily enjoy löyly aromas.

Fragrance Profile

A light and refreshing top note, with the spicy herbal quality of thyme, the coolness of peppermint, and the soft floral scent of lavender. The crisp herbal note of rosemary, the bright citrus of lemon, and the gin-like green of juniper subtly linger in the background, creating a complex and deep "freshness" that is far from simple. How to Use

1. Shake the bottle well before use.
2. Add a few drops (5-10 drops as a guide) to the water for the sauna stones (one ladleful), mix well, and then pour over the sauna stones.
3. Start with a small amount the first time to check the strength of the scent.
4. This product is for löyly only. Do not apply directly to skin or mucous membranes. Not for consumption.
