From Italy's Fiore D'Oriente Chakra Incense series, No. 4 Anahata (Chakra Incense). This incense is themed after the 4th chakra, "Anahata," which is located at the center of the chest and corresponds to the color green in the traditions of Yoga and Ayurveda. Its keywords are "love, acceptance, harmony, and cooperation." It is a handmade honey incense made from 100% natural ingredients, free from synthetic and chemical substances. Each pack contains 10 sticks.

Chakras and Scent Rituals

In the classical traditions of Yoga and Ayurveda, chakras are considered to be seven energy centers located along the body. Fiore D'Oriente has selected scents, colors, and keywords corresponding to each chakra from academic and traditional perspectives, developing an incense series that can be used to create an atmosphere for meditation and yoga. These scents are designed for continuous use and can be incorporated into daily practice.

Anahata Chakra and the Tradition of the Fourth Chakra

Anahata (Sanskrit for "unstruck") is the fourth chakra in the Yoga tradition. It is believed to be located at the center of the chest and has been associated with themes of love, acceptance, harmony, and connection between oneself and others. It is a beloved chakra for times spent in asanas that open the chest, evenings spent thinking of someone, and moments when one wishes to calm the mind.

Scent Profile and Ingredients

A deep and pure blend centered around Boswellia carterii (frankincense), benzoin, and Bursera graveolens wood oil (palo santo). The sacred aroma of resins, layered with the sweet and bright woody notes of palo santo, is crafted to align with the Anahata chakra's theme of "opening the heart." This honey incense is made with Malabar Kino resin, Machilus thunbergii resin, charcoal, and bamboo.

How to Use

  1. Place in an incense holder and light the tip.
  2. Gently blow out the flame and enjoy the rising smoke. Use to create an atmosphere before and after meditation, yoga, or breathing exercises.
  3. Please use on a heat-resistant surface such as a smudge plate. Each stick burns for approximately 60-80 minutes.

Also consider Palo Santo and Frankincense

If you wish to enjoy palo santo or frankincense individually, please consider Organic Palo Santo or Organic Frankincense. For the traditional method of burning resins directly, use charcoal tablets.
