Incense Halmaddi from the Marco Polo Treasures series by Italy's Fiore D'Oriente. This is one of the handmade incense series that was the first in the world to obtain two organic certifications, ECOCERT and ICEA, and uses virgin honey collected in the Himalayan jungle. It uses the resin of a tree native to southern India, which is called "the tree of God" by the indigenous people. It has a delicate and pleasant fragrance. Each pack contains 10 sticks.

The Story of Halmaddi Resin

Halmaddi is a resin extracted from Ailanthus malabarica, a tree native to the forests of southern India. Known as "the tree of God" among the indigenous people, its sacred resin has long been used for religious ceremonies and daily incense. It is also known as a central ingredient in Nag Champa incense, producing a distinctive sweet and deep fragrance. In recent years, it has become a rare material with limited availability.

Fragrance Profile

A delicate and pleasant scent with a honey-like sweetness, tropical fruitiness, and a subtle woody depth. It evokes the world of Indian temple incense, perfectly suited for meditation, yoga, or quiet evenings alone.

Ingredients: Himalayan Virgin Honey and Organic Certification

The Marco Polo Treasures series was developed by Fiore D'Oriente to revive natural honey incense based on ancient Vedic traditions. It is a handmade incense where artisans blend resins, wood powder, vegetable oils, and herbs with virgin honey collected from the Himalayas. It is the first handmade incense in the world to obtain European organic certifications from ECOCERT and ICEA. No synthetic fragrances or chemicals are used.

How to Use

  1. Light the coated end of the stick and allow it to ignite until the tip glows red.
  2. Gently blow out the flame and enjoy the rising smoke's aroma.
  3. Place it in an incense holder or a non-combustible container filled with sand or ash, such as a smudge plate. Each stick burns for approximately 60-80 minutes.
