It is a distilled water component extracted from yarrow (Achillea millefolium) flowers using traditional steam distillation. This plant has long been called "soldier's herb" in Europe and has been treasured by medieval herbalists. About Yarrow

Yarrow (scientific name: Achillea millefolium) is a perennial plant of the Asteraceae family, characterized by its finely feathered leaves, as indicated by its Japanese name "Seiyō nokogiri-sō" (Western saw-herb). It is one of Europe's traditional medicinal herbs, with its scientific name said to come from the legend that the ancient Greek hero Achilles used this plant to treat soldiers' wounds. Wild yarrow grows in grasslands and by roadsides, blooming with clusters of small white to pale pink flowers. Both its leaves and flowers have been used in traditional herbal teas and infused oils. This product is a clear distilled water containing only water-soluble components distilled from organically cultivated yarrow.
